- Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design
Brett Milligan is Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design in the Department of Human Ecology. Before coming to Davis he practiced landscape architecture and integrative landscape planning in the Pacific Northwest. He teaches advanced landscape architecture design studios and courses in infrastructural studies, regenerative technologies, and landscape representation and modeling. His research focuses on prototyping transdisciplinary approaches to equitable and multifunctional landscapes, with particular emphasis on the future of California’s water infrastructure, climate change adaptation and the design of the dynamic interface between land and water. Much of this work is practiced in California’s Bay-Delta.
