Private gifts to support the Graduate Group in Community Development strengthen our world-renowned teaching and research. Student support is among our highest priorities and helps us to attract the very best students year after year. Research funding and travel awards enable students to dedicate their time and energy to the challenges of community development research and pursue relevant opportunities. Unrestricted and special-project gifts are also extremely important for retaining the quality of our program over time.  Furthermore, attracting distinguished speakers broadens and enriches the intellectual experience.

Alumni, faculty, emeriti and friends of Community Development express their support for research and education in a variety of ways.  You may select a resource to direct your gift.  A few examples are:

  • Distinguished speakers series fund
  • Student research fund
  • Any number of special projects e.g. the Annual Fall Orientation trip or the Symposium

Donors may also specify that their gift go to a particular purpose within the overall mission of the program.

We would welcome the opportunity to talk with you. Your gift will make a difference for our students and build a sound future for our program.   For your convenience, here is a direct link to the donation form.
